Episode 2: the search begins
The police launch a full-scale search for the missing child, with teams combing the area, but no trace of Ethan is found. Local legends begin resurfacing, with townspeople whispering about a monster in the woods—an eerie beast said to take children. Desperate and losing faith in the police, David watches as they fail to uncover any evidence. Meanwhile, strange occurrences escalate, with unexplainable noises echoing from the woods. One night, David stumbles upon a mysterious glow deep in the forest and discovers Ethan's favorite toys hanging from a tree
Episode 3: The whispering woods
David is convinced that Ethan is still alive and believes whatever took him is luring him deeper into the uncharted woods. The police begin to question whether the disappearance is the result of a kidnapping or something far darker. As David's search intensifies, he starts having vivid dreams of Ethan calling for him. Meanwhile, David's brother, Dean, grows increasingly concerned about his brother's health. The police discover strange markings on the trees near the spot where Ethan was last seen. Panic begins to spread across the town when a security camera captures a shadowy figure lurking in the streets.
Episode 4: The beast of the woods
As David delves deeper into the history of the forest, he uncovers an ancient legend about a beast that dwells deep within, needing children to help him control the woods. Meanwhile, the police persist in their search, but the presence of the creature becomes undeniable. Strange occurrences intensify—footprints mysteriously appear, and glowing eyes are spotted throughout the forest, heightening the sense of dread.
Episode 5: through the dark
Desperate, David and Dean take matters into their own hands, abandoning the police and venturing deep into the heart of the woods. As they move further in, they encounter strange footprints and terrifying occurrences, slowly realising that their mission is no longer just about finding Ethan—it’s about fighting for their survival against an otherworldly force. Meanwhile, the police, concerned for their safety, launch a rescue mission. However, their progress is hindered by the shifting terrain and eerie fallen trees, which block their path and slow them down.
Episode 6: The return
As David and Dean continue their search for Ethan, the police discover a trail of footprints left behind by the two men. They eventually catch up to David and Dean, urging them to return home. After a tense standoff with the police, they reluctantly agree. As they emerge from the woods, a large crowd of locals and reporters has gathered, waiting anxiously. A cheer erupts when the crowd catches sight of David, but it quickly turns to tears when they realise Ethan is nowhere to be seen. Unbeknownst to anyone, a dark, shadowy figure watches from the woods as David breaks down in tears, while a frightened little boy stands beside him.
